Milky Holmes Alternative Blu-Ray! Happy New Year!

 

Recently, we were able to obtain the Blu-Ray disc of the Milky Holmes Alternative OVAs.  Because of that, we decided to redo our release using the BD source and make our release even better than before.

We have released it in three formats:

1.  A softsubbed 1080p Matroska file encoded with 10-bit h.264 video and FLAC audio

2.  A softsubbed 720p Matroska file encoded with 8-bit h.264 video and AAC audio

3.  A hardsubbed 480p AVI file encoded with XviD video and MP3 audio

We hope that everyone enjoys this revised release of the Milky Holmes Alternative OVA.

Status Report so far on all projects...

So, it's been a little quiet on other things I've been working on. Let's give you guys the details on everything I'm working on at the moment...  
Eriko BDs 7 and 21 are at qc. Waiting on me to do and get out.  
Lime Iro X 10 is at qc and song check. 11 is at qc. 12-13 are at tlc. Telling Zalis to hurry as I got all of my encodes done finally ^^.
Rio ep. 1 for the BDs has been encoded. 14 is at tlc.  
PRAD Specials 39-51 at edit. I'll get started on them when I can.
BlueDragon I'll get to this whenever I decide what I wanna do with it.  
Milky S1-S3 BDs and batch for S3 We are going through 6-12 for S1 at the moment. S we need to start and we already have an encode for S3 done for ep. 1 but still working on batching the 1-12 first. Still fixing some mistakes and time issues here and there. I'll release batch for S3 before anything then onto the BDs of it.  
Hanaukyo BDs 3-10 are at tlc. 11-15 is at time.  
Lovely Complex DVDs 17 is at qc. 18-21 are at fixing. 22-24 are at typing. i'll try to knock all of these out before end of year. We'll see though...  
PRDMF 5-18+20-31 at tlc. 19 at time. 32-51 at time. We still gotta do some karaoke for the other OP/EDs as well. The thing with this project is that Asairo,(my tlcer) is super busy and cannot tlc the show right now. So, we are STALLED at the moment. He won't be able to do any work until like April. He wants me to find a replacement for the show but no luck so far. So, very sorry folks, but for now, we'll have to wait.
Jidai 1-10 encodesep. 1 is done. Working on the others.

We do have future projects in the works but we like to finish some of these off first. I'll keep you guys updated. ^_^

Hanaukyo Maid Tai BD 1 released! 2001 series!

'Cause naughty girls like small file sizes.

Hello everyone. I'm Fuko_Ibuki. We are happy to announce to you our new project with Wasurenai - "Hanaukyo Maid Tai", a 15 episode ecchi TV series about a ditzy guy getting himself a harem full of teenage maids that would do anything that he wants. But there's one problem. Our protagonist is allergic to girls. Well, that about sums up the entire plot. As for the release, the Blu-Ray discs were remastered in 1080i, and we found it pointless to do the 1080 version, so we settled down to do the 720 one. There will be no XviD ones or 8bit encodes of it. There are two audio tracks - the remastered 5.1 (set on default) and the old 2.0 one. The 5.1 was in DTS HDMA and the 2.0 in LPCM, so the release would be really big if we would left it out the way it was, so we decided to do AAC on both tracks. We'll try to release you more episodes with all our might. This is the 2001 original series that got BD releases this year. This one should go by pretty quickly. Brought to you by us and Wasurenai.

Futari wa Milky Holmes 12 END out! We done folks...it's over...Milky..*sob*

So it's finally over...Overall it wasn't bad..but it's wasn't what we expected. Still, we had fun doing it as always. Thanks to all staff in the credits and everyone watching yet again for more Milky from the slowpokes lol. Of course the batches will come with v2 fixes...I gotta go through scripts and fix shit. Do we even need patches for this? Seriously?? Also, looks like Milky-Subs will be doing the idol segments from what they commented in their last release. If they go ahead and do them, I see no reason for us to do them as well. We'll probably focus on other things like the DVD/BDs or whichever format we decide to do these on if we do them. Mizu Iro Jidai 47 END released! Jidai is now done!

That smile right there makes this all worth it folks...We picked this series up in Jan. 2011 through time and hardships, good and bad, we were able to complete another series. I really enjoy this show and would have loved more of it, but this is all we get. Unless, you read the manga of course I guess lol. Still, from when Namaiki brought it to our attention, to now, we thank you and everyone else involved and or was watching the series. Now for the batch info, listen up here's how we'll do it. I got to do like 4 v2s for H264. I'll do patches for them as well. We'll reencode the xvids for those as well. We will release 11-47 of our releases for H264 and xvids. We'll also repost 1-10 of lunar's release that we release earlier when we started.

As you guys know or if you don't, Zalis from ReDone Subs is releasing 1-10 of Jidai again. We were requested to do the encodes for 1-10 as we have the DVDs themselves since Zalis was using the ones that were released online. So, we will make encodes for Zalis to re-release for 1-10 as a joint to keep consistency/style and also match our encode quality of the releases we done. We will get on that soon. For now, when the batches are released, just hold onto the lunar ones until Zalis releases all 1-10 with our encodes. We will keep you guys updated with that as well.

Lovedol ~ Lovely Idol - 13 finally released! Joint with Redone subs! 8-bit and 10-bit out.

After god knows how long, we finally are able to release this gem with our good friend Zalis over at Redone Subs. We worked on this show alot, but got tied up around other shows and the tl songs in this one even though we had a good amount of them already. Still, when we saw Zalis doing the entire series in DVD format, we said wth...here take what we've done and just finish it off man ^_^. Now, here we are with another old time release finally done and marked off our list. Credits are all in the video including monti from PFSubs for the song karaoke help. My pervy bud! XviD AVI encode scheduling

Due to some recent comments during releases, I would like to explain how we do XviD AVI encodes here.

First, the person doing the XviD encodes is sometimes not the encoder for the h.264 release, since not all of our encoders like doing XviD encodes, and they may not be particularly equipped to do so efficiently.  We typically will divide the XviD encodes among the staff members who are able to make such encodes.

For the vast majority of projects, the h.264 version gets released first.  The person that is assigned the XviD encode usually does not get notice that the encode is needed until a bit later after the release.  Depending on the encoder's time and the current items on their list of episodes to encode, it may be anywhere from a couple of hours to a few days when the XviD version is encoded and released.  We would like to ask that you all have patience as we will eventually get them.

The one series that is an exception to this process is Idol Densetsu Eriko, as the way it's released is different from every other project here.  For that project, we will typically almost always release the XviD version along with the h.264 version.

Also, I would like to personally apologize for the delay in getting Mizuiro Jidai XviDs out recently.  I am the one who is typically assigned to do the XviD encodes for that series, and they were in the back of about a 15 episode encoding backlog that I had to work through.

Rio Rainbow Gate 12 released!

We forgot this episode had a solo opening again and forgot to fix it up. Nothing big, just something small. It's been fixed already and will be right in the BDs. If anyone really cares, it's Mint's solo. She saids after burning heart, "Let's go Choco!" Now, Milky 5 should be next in a few hours or so. It's at tlc at the moment.

Yes, I never dropped this if you guys thought I did XD. I just put it on the back burner. Considering from what I've seen, we're the only actual fansub group that actually subbed the series ourselves besides Dmonhiro doing ep. 14 I believe. Well here we go, Pretty Rhythm Dear My Future 1 released!

Here we go PRAD fans, the start of the second season(well, atleast for us lol) has begun. Now let me get a few things out that I've been asked...

1. This show will be 720p so we had to and we will in the future have to resize stuff and whatnot.
2. Styles will stay the same with new styles being added throughout the series.(mostly songs)
3. The entire series is tled and as I type Moho is already tling and catching up on Pretty Rhythm Rainbow Live. So thank him for tling this entire show already for us to work on and fly through hopefully. We are still considering starting Rainbow Live together as well with this show..we'll see...Also Mia's talking is just nuts in this show so don't jump us if you see weird ass sentences LOL.

We had another typesetter, but she has disappeared which we were hoping didn't happen, but usually does >_<. We are working with another one at the moment. If good enough, we'll have more help on this series and get stuff out sooner. I lost coax so I'm editing it myself while tons of other series at once. Come back COAX!!! *sob* Still, we'll do our best to hop these out. Our plan is to get the other OP/EDs done for karaoke and such so DJ can encode episodes in sets by the OP/EDs. Still, please enjoy the start of the sequel while we huff and puff and blow out more releases. Get ready for tons of new songs as well. Finally! Futari wa Milky Holmes 1 released!

Ok everyone, here's ep 1 finally! All the setbacks we had this last week was ridiculous. People getting sick, people having to work extra hours everyday at work, then time differences slowed us down as well. Still, after all that, here it is. We didn't put that much into the karaoke this time and the script is softsubbed besides a few things. For this season as if everyone knows, the show is only 12m mins long and the live action really plays no part to the series as we decided not to tl it. This one is also the "serious" Milky Holmes from the game series so yeah...Now we got that outta the way, here's our schedule from now on for episodes. Moho our tler for it besides some great help from doll_licca, is only able to tl the show every Tuesday of the coming week after it airs on Saturday. So our goal is to have every episode out around Wednesday or Thursday of that week. So basically, the next day after we get it. Show is 720p so that's good atleast and we are getting caps as soon as it airs so that's good as well. Anyways, there you have it. We will see you guys this Wed or Thurs for ep. 2. Enjoy! Futari wa Milky Holmes S3 is coming soon....so update.

So we are gearing up for season 3 which looks like it will be out around the 13th if this preview on the 6th is what we think it is....(Just a live action round a bout discussion with the VA's from how it's looking.) We got our tler, we got our tlcer and everything else. From the looks of things, this series is gonna focus on the girls more serious mature sides like the Alternative OVAs from the game series. So we won't get dawgg to bad with crazy tsing and big puns most likely, but lots of history will be looked up depending on whatever they're focusing on in their cases. The 2 new girls look cute and yes the episodes will only be 12 mins long, but it is showing in a 30 min block. We will decide if we do the LA portion if it's worth doing like with PRAD etc... We'll get the first tl started most likely after it airs in like 8 mins is our guess from what zdm321 has told me. We'll probably do a v1 for first episode and then add if karaoke, logo, etc..in v2 if we don't get everything down in a timely manner. Look for each episode to be out from us in a few hours in the early wee morning or next day is my guess. I'll keep you guys informed...

Updates! Updates galore!

So, to keep you guys informed, we're working on stuff again...little by little. Moho should be back soon from his vacation and we can get started back on PRRL and other things this season including Milky Holmes S3. It's looking like the show is gonna go that serious route again from the game franchise like in the OVAs. The 2 new girls looks cute and moe as always. We are also working on PRDMF as well. It's getting timed to hell and back and we are already in the double digits for that. We got our logos ready and the first encode is done but we still might make a few changes for ep.2 and onwards in the ED karaoke and so forth. We gotta get the karaoke done for the other 3 ops/eds so were on that. As for doing both, PRRL and PRDMF, we'll have to see. Jidai is at ts checks for 2 episodes and one I should be getting out soon. Eriko is coming along as always. Lovely Complex DVDs will be coming out soon as well. I got like 4 to work on at the same time. Rio, my long forgotten series will be done soon and we WILL do the BDs for it. Lime Iro X 6 and 7 will be coming out soon after tsing is done. Waiting on other encodes and tlcing from Zalis for other episodes. I'll try to get more PRAD specials out when I can. Lovely Idol 13 is getting a boost sometime soon with help. Blue Dragon I'm still debating on what to do with it. I do have plans for my other stuff as well including the specials and OVA for Koihme Musou 3rd OVA as well. I'll keep you guys informed.
